Urban Colours is a professional cultural heritage and flora and fauna management planning and advisory company. We have been providing comprehensive cultural heritage management services to our clients both large and small since 2006.

Our varied client base includes both government and industry clients, principally in the property, water and roads industries.

Urban Colours comprises four registered cultural heritage advisors, two archaeological technical assistants, one senior ecologist and a GIS Officer. We are also supported by a strong administrative team and maintain an on-call list of casual staff for large projects as required.

Urban Colours' staff all hold Honours Degrees or above in their respective disciplines and are actively involved in the cultural heritage industry by participating in scientific forums, presenting on behalf of their clients and undertaking research-based investigtions of the highest standard.

Urban Colours has an excellent track record of CHMP approval with over 100 CHMPs approved for projects ranging from PSP property developments and logical inclusions to large infrastructure projects. In the planning of a new development, we consult with the relevant Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) or RAP applicant and Traditional Owner Groups as well as developers (Sponsors), local authorities and landowners.

Urban Colours' staff have developed their project management skills by directing and delivering on large, complex cultural heritage projects including those associated with mining sites (Boral, Xstrata, Barro Group) PSP- level residential subdivisions (MAB Corp, VicUrban), wind farms (Origin Energy), major road (VicRoads) and water infrastructure (Melbourne Water, City West Water, Wannon Water, NVIRP), emergency services facilities (CFA), and various National Park Master Plan (Parks Victoria, DSE), projects.
